KCT was founded by Rob Kearney in 2017 to address a clear gap in the market for reliable, professional construction materials testing services across South East Queensland.
Starting with a vision for exceptional service and accuracy, KCT has grown to become one of the largest independent concrete and geotechnical testing teams in the region. Specialising in concrete, soil and aggregate testing, with 15+ field technicians and 3 full-time laboratory staff, we provide coverage from the Northern Rivers in NSW right through to North Brisbane.
Our modern Yatala-based laboratory features cutting-edge technology for accurate and efficient data capture. We're proud that 100% of our business is repeat business — a testament to the relationships we build and the quality we deliver.

Founder & Director
With extensive experience in the construction industry, Rob identified a gap in reliable construction materials testing in South East Queensland. In 2017, he founded KCT to deliver the kind of professional, dependable concrete and geotechnical testing service that builders and engineers need.
